MC Supreme has died in a car crash in Malibu.
The rapper, born DeWayne Coleman, was best known for his 1990 single ‘Black In America’.
According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, Coleman was killed on Saturday when a pickup truck crashed into his parked car on the shoudler of the Pacific Coast Highway. He was 47.
Coleman was pronounced dead at the scene whilst a female passenger in his car was transported to hospital with unspecified injuries.
Coleman’s 1990 hit ‘Black In America’ was originally released on a compilation entitled We’re All In The Same Gang. The title track from that compilation was produced by Dr. Dre and features N.W.A., King Tee, Digital Underground, Tone Loc, Young MC, Ice-T and a host of others.
